VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS ATTEND THE WILD WEST VETERINARY CONFERENCE

Looking for something new and exciting at the 2009 Wild West Veterinary Conference? We've got just the thing!

WWVC is proud to introduce an integrated Team-Based Training Program for veterinary practices led by Dr. Tom Catanzaro and Dr. Thom Haig. This new program is designed to bring together four members of the veterinary practice to participate in cutting edge team training -at multiple levels- before coming together to develop a practice specific Action Plan, that you will put it into action upon returning to your practice.

Here are the specifics of the program:

  • Bring four key members from your practice to the WWVC:
Front Office (registered for Front Office Training-Wednesday & Thursday)
Veterinary Technician (registered in one of the four Core Technician Academy Tracks- Wednesday & Thursday)
    Practice Manager (full conference registration)
    Medical Director/Owner (full conference registration)
  • Participating practice team members will be provided Action Plans in-advance to capture great ideas and get the most from this team-based education.
  • Your team will attend a dynamic, practice-changing, team-specific training session on Friday morning, followed by a practice-specific facilitated session to consolidate, brainstorm, and tailor individual Action Plans to a combined and sequenced Practice Plan.
  • The Team will take away a jointly-facilitated Action Plan tailored to your own practice, including an implementation time line and key member buy-in.

Drs. Catanzaro and Haig have 15 years of experience presenting these type team-based leadership programs and they been proven that by involving key members from all practice zones in the planning, success rates actually triple in program implementation!

The Wild West Veterinary Conference is scheduled for October 14-18, 2009 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. The Team-Specific group training will be facilitated on Friday morning, October 16. Don't miss out on this great opportunity-only at the WWVC!
